not all of it is of equal value, accuracy, or usefulness.
- This composition is intended to help you develop
skills of evaluating web pages.
- For the purposes of this course, you must evaluate
an English-language site.
- If you have a favourite English-language Web
page that you want to evaluate, go ahead.
- If you don't know which Web page to evaluate,
try one of the following.
- Choose quickly and don't spend a long time surfing.
- Once you have chosen a Web page to evaluate,
look at the Questions
to Use When Evaluating Web Pages page
for guidance.
- When you write your answers to the questions,
use full sentences that include the question so you reader knows
what you are answering. This is not the same as simply writing the
questions on your paper.
- Be sure to format your composition, i.e., double
space it.
