Introduction: The Communicative English Programme (CEP) is a three-level course offered to students who show a superior ability in English and a strong desire to improve their English during the time they are at Tokoha. This year for the first time first year students have been admitted to CEP. This web page introduces some of the work they have done this year.

Japanese Culture: The essays on Japanese culture were written in response to an inquiry for information about Japanese from an American university student.

Posters on Africa: One of the projects students did this year was to research an African country and prepare one part of the information they found as a poster presentation. Because these essays were written as oral presentations, they retain some of that style. Teachers interested in doing poster presentations with their students should click here for suggestions on how to proceed.

Navigating: Click on one of the cells in the table below to link to a student by name, read about Japanese culture, or to look at one of the posters about an African country.
